Yes we are born naked in this life. According to Scripture we now have exposure and therefore knowledge of good and knowledge of evil. And yes, there comes a time in our youth where sin has condemned us. We are enemies of God. As we continue on in life, our hearts harden in contempt for other men and God. The longer one lives without repenting the more likely one is to reject God. There comes a time where God turns us over to our carnal senses. The only influence left to man is Satan.
So according to Scripture we are either the Seed of the woman or the seed of Satan. Our lives are either transformed into the image of His Son or the image of Lucifer.
We often speak of the human condition as a bent toward sin. But Scripture points to the fact that the spiritual world is the source of the bending. We have both the Spirit of God and the spirit of Satan as the source for bending. God's righteousness is expressed in the image of His Son by the power of the Holy Spirit. All who turn towards Him are given life. Likewise Satan also seeks to devour all those who reject God and turn toward their own destruction.
So in the 1000 year reign of Christ, with Satan's influence removed what occurs? We see in the following Scripture that man still has the choice to follow Christ or not. We also see that the nature of life, the corruption of life that we know in this generation begins to fade...
Isaiah 65
18 \tBut be glad and rejoice forever in what I create;
\tFor behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing,
\tAnd her people a joy.
19 \tI will rejoice in Jerusalem,
\tAnd joy in My people;
\tThe voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her,
\tNor the voice of crying.
20 \t“No more shall an infant from there live but a few days,
\tNor an old man who has not fulfilled his days;
\tFor the child shall die one hundred years old,
\tBut the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 \tThey shall build houses and inhabit them;
\tThey shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 \tThey shall not build and another inhabit;
\tThey shall not plant and another eat;
\tFor as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people,
\tAnd My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 \tThey shall not labor in vain,
\tNor bring forth children for trouble;
\tFor they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the LORD,
\tAnd their offspring with them.
24 \t“It shall come to pass
\tThat before they call, I will answer;
\tAnd while they are still speaking, I will hear.
25 \tThe wolf and the lamb shall feed together,
\tThe lion shall eat straw like the ox,
\tAnd dust shall be the serpent’s food.
\tThey shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,”
\tSays the LORD.
1 Thus says the LORD:
\t“Heaven is My throne,
\tAnd earth is My footstool.
\tWhere is the house that you will build Me?
\tAnd where is the place of My rest?
2 \tFor all those things My hand has made,
\tAnd all those things exist,”
\tSays the LORD.
\t“But on this one will I look:
\tOn him who is poor and of a contrite spirit,
\tAnd who trembles at My word.
Zech. 14:16 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, on them there will be no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
It just seems that few ever go deeper into this area of the nature of the fall and the influence of the spiritual world on man....
Why?
In Christ
