Mozilla Firefox (alternative internet browser)

I have been using the Mozilla Firefox browser for the last few days and have been impressed with some of the easy features it provides. Its quite small to download and very simple to install and use. Has anybody tried opera browser?Hi Brother do you use opera? I would love feedback on how that browser works with sermonindex. With the Mozilla broswer I notice some times it times out trying to access a page and it definetly loads the sermonindex structure abit different than the convential Internet Explorer browser. I haven't used opera in awhile hmm I wonder what new changes are with it? I did hear that there is advertising on everypage unless you pay the $30 annual fee. It will be interesting to hear what browsers people use and how it works with sermonindex, sorry for getting geeky on everyone. :-P

I've been using opera for a while. The latest version is now 7.5 and smaller than before although it's still 15 MB with java but 3.5 MB without. It works very well with sermon index. True to its claim as the fastest browser, it works much faster than IE. There's a lot more user options than mozilla which are quite useful for computer geeks. :-)The registered version costs $39 with free upgrade for the next full version (?). This is not an annual fee. If not registered there are ads at the right part of the toolbar which, to me, is negligible. Worth a try, don't you think so?Hope that helps. God bless.

Hi AllI have been using Mozilla Firefox for about a month. I occasionally experience a glitch if a hyperlink takes me outside sermonindex (why would anyone want to go outside sermonindex you ask? :-D ). As regards navigating sermonindex it seems fine.I don't have to log on when I get here it does it automatically. Does that mean I have been logged on constantly since my last visit or that it is automating the log-on process.I have tried any of the goodies with MZ but it certainly seems faster.

Does that mean I have been logged on constantly since my last visit or that it is automating the log-on process.Actually last week I implimented that feature in the SermonIndex script so if you login the site will remember you for a 24 hour period. It will automatically log you off if you leave the site but if you just simply go back to the site then you are automatically re-logged in. What the Mozilla Firefox browser does is remember your username and password and has it ready for you to just hit the login button. But that still requires you to do some work. The way I changed the sermonindex script should be helping people much more without even realizing it :-P I'm still varying back and forth between Internet Explorer and FireFox but it seems there are script errors when I try to login to the backend of sermonindex with IE so Firefox is my tool for doing that now.
