Devotional: Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Consider this in light of standing in the Gap for others…where your ongoing involvement is physically, mentally and spiritually demanding. Pressing past difficulties to give your prayer time on behalf of another…has its due reward. Think not that it must come in this lifetime…though HE may so bless you. Rather, persevere with the prayer that GOD will touch the other soul in a heavenly, all encompassing way! The wealth of HIS indwelling SPIRIT is immeasurable! Yes! Truly seek first the kingdom of GOD and all these things will be added unto you as we read in HIS Word. What’s the pre-requisite? Sacrifice everything you have in love…to the LORD! Then, in HIS timing you will see the goodness of GOD in the land of the living….just as David prayed for. Amen and amen.
Sacrificial O’erflowings
When HIS calling runs deep through your veins,
every thought which precedes any action...
is birthed without one hesitation to serve
HE whose voice moves your soul with great purpose.
But “Greater than this” is HIS drawing
for your efforts poured out upon others…
to stand in “the Gap” till HIS rescue exceeds
every longing and any such need.
What a sacrifice then one must make
for HE presses our hearts…intercessing!
Yet though no set focus upon us is set,
still receive we our LORD’s…greatest blessing!
