Devotional: This is a follow up to messages written in the last few days. A very good friend of mine, Rob, discussed with me last night about the merits of debate as well as the pitfalls. The WORD shows us that vain discussions are fruitless and one of many words can cause confusion and strife. As a poem I’d written a few years back stated, we must race out to anoint the Lost and not stand in one place just to prove a point…REGARDLESS the internal desire to have the last word or even simply to reply with, “I was just saying….” The time is more "short" than we know. Let us focus on “Shadow Rescues” and not preaching to the Found who are already in HIS light..."on purpose". Amen? Amen.
Debate’s Delay
Though daylight departs in this hour
and the darkness rushes in to take its place;
yet such is HIS pattern daily repeated.
Thus, why then claim Worry’s distressing
when the shadows creep ‘round your bent frame;
for GOD’s blessing has all Lack – exceeded.
Yet further this warning is driven
and beyond those who claim “Present knowledge!”…
yet common their message is…reaching this servant.
For their greater desire – debate
whilst their steps for the Lost wane completely…
with no rescue designed – and “on purpose”.
