Devotional: HE ran towards the returning, once wayward child because HE was looking for him. HE is aware of where you stand now. When you return, HE will meet you even though you haven’t gotten “all the way back”. When we say, “HE meets us where we’re at”…consider that this is true…even when we have just turned around from our sins and fallen to our knees. Now that…is amazing grace for which I have rapturous expectations! Amen and amen!
Rapturous Expectations
While the prodigal was yet afar
still the Father, observant,
both saw and drew near.
May we be as prepared
since the signs point t’wards CHRIST
and HIS coming return
to withdraw us at last.
Yea, this “present” time bears no surprise
whose delay is a blessing
so we can share with those Lost…
how the LORD ran t’wards us!
Thus, this hour is planned
to speak boldly with zeal…
because HE expects us to.
