I know what you mean.
These people are well aware of the Bible, they have just decided, in their reprobate way, to rewrite it to suit them.
God help them, because if He can't no one can.
This is very sad for me as I have a friend who is a member of a ELCA church. I don't know if she doesnt think it affects her since it isn't in her own church or what.
Sorry to say that this is no suprise. Only going to get worse before He comes, this we can depend on.

The answer to that is no, they don't read it. They don't even take their Bibles to church with them. (at least that is my experience)
