Please pray for Pastorfrin.

sermonindex Nov 21, 2007

Dear Saints - Pastorfrin has had some ultra sound tests run and they are finding lesions on his pancreas and liver and a mass at the lower left lung and right side.

This Friday, he will be going through an upper and lower CT scan with contrast.

He's been having pain and tiredness for a while now - but of course he's a trooper and is still working his brick masonry job.

Please lift him up in prayer. His wife and 7 children and 14 grandchildren and his church and us want him to stick around and not beat any of us to Heaven.

Just being honest here and know you folks feel the same.

We're asking for Your Mercy Lord God of Hosts - in Jesus' Name. Amen.

moe-mac is Praying for Pastorfrin,
Eph 3:20 God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what we can ask or think according the faith that works in us. God is able to give us what we need and exactly when we need it. We all know by Pastorfrin's post he is well aware of that God is in control. It is easy to read his post and see he loves the Lord and and HIS WORD and has the want-to to be pleasing to the Lord in every area of his life. My the Lord bless him, heal him and give him peace in the midst of his storm.

Thank you Annie for this act of love.

Brothers and Sisters,

Thank You All for the prayers you are offering to the Lord, in behalf of me and my family. You cannot know how much they are appreciated.
The Lord has given me complete peace in this trial and as I know there is a journey yet before me, He is leading the way.
He loves us so much, enough to give His Son to bring us unto Him; thus we can pray and believe Him that His will is best for us in every area of our lives.
As I was reading this morning His word spoke and I would like to share with you.

Psalm 131:1–3
1 LORD, my heart is not haughty,
Nor my eyes lofty.
Neither do I concern myself with great matters,
Nor with things too profound for me.
2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,
Like a weaned child with his mother;
Like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3 O Israel, (O Church) hope in the LORD
From this time forth and forever.
NKJ

Our hope must be in Him and nothing else; no other issue can or ever should diminish our hope in Him, for our hope must be forever, no matter the circumstances in our lives.

The apostle Paul shares with us a wonderful truth in:

Philip. 4:4-8
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. [5] Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. [6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. [8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Notice after we have received the Peace of God, we are instructed to think on these things. Whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report, “and if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

In this way we can:

1 Thes. 5:18
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

So let us all give thanks unto the Lord for His mercy endureth forever.

Psalm 136:1-3
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. [2] O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. [3] O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 136:26
O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 140:13
Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.

Thank all of you and may all have a Happy Thanksgiving as we all remember, HE IS FAITHFUL WHO PROMISED.

In His Love

Brother, it is refreshing to see your heart encouraged in the Lord. We as local fellowship here asked the Lord for His mercy and grace on your behalf, for God's glory. (John 11)

I thank God for you.

Pastorfrin,

Thanks for the update.

I have a suggestion for you: start another thread and share with us what the LORD is teaching you on this journey. The insights one gleans during this journey of affliction are profound and inspiring.

Still praying for you, your wife and family.

Hi BrokenOne,

Thank you for your prayers and no I have not received any results from the CT yet. They tell me today, I will wait and see and let everyone know as soon as I do.

ginnyrose, that is a good idea, I started a journal of this journey quite some time ago and it seems it is growing, guess that is a good thing.
Thank you all for your prayers,
In His Love
