Hey chandras, let me see if I can answer this at least a little bit.
There is the basic principle that when sin entered the world, man was tarnished by it, and as a result his body began somewhat to start failing in areas.
But what we must remember is that man's gene structure was perfect, Adam & Eve's children procreated, and there was no problem with that because with perfect gene structures, there are no ill effects.
The first thing I will show you is this:
Genisis 6:8-9
8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
9These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and (perfect in his generations,) and Noah walked with God.
If you notice the highlighted portion in verse 9, it shows an interesting thing, it says that Noah was perfect in all his generations.
Now many people have formed many beliefs off of this, but I think it simply means that from Adam to Moses, they maintained purity before God concerning their bodies, and as a result he was perfect in all his generations.
Ok, having said all that, it shows the issue of sin and how it affects men's bodies and causes impurity. However, there is one event in history that was the main catalyst towards destroying the bodies of man and it's gene structure.
This event was the flood, when the earth was flooded, it destroyed the atmosphere of the earth, it destroyed all kinds of vitamins and minerals that man needed to maintain his gene structure. So once that happened, ever since that point in time, man's gene structure has been rapidly deteriorating.
So the sole root of the issue is the sin of man, and the judgment upon the cause is the main destroyer of man's body.
You can see the truth of this very simply by looking at the average lifespan of a human before the flood, and then watch as that deteriorates after the flood.
I hope this helps a little bit, it has all been caused by the sin of man.
