Several years ago, I worked in a print shop, and every Christmas someone would surprise me by what they considered appropriate to put on the "holiday" card.

I work retail and the other day one of the cashiers said merry Christmas to a customer and another girl that we work with told her she wasn't allowed to say that because it offends people. Well, the customer replied "If you don't say it I won't shop here anymore!".
I wonder how this all got started anyway.
