Romans 9:19-21 says Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth He yet find fault? for who hath resisteth His will? Nay, but O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to Him that formed it Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the Potter power over the clay of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour and another unto dishonour?
God has a right to request us to come to Him, to be broken so that He might accomplish His redemptive purposes through us. After all, He is the one who made us and without Him we would have no life. To make a masterpiece from clay the Master Artist goes through many steps. Clay is a versatile medium that can be formed and worked into any form. It is pliable. To ensure an even consistency throughout, the first thing you do is prepare the clay. This is done through kneading. Pinching clay is one of the simplest ways to work with clay. Clay hardens by kiln firing, oven firing or air drying. Air drying is the least durable. He cares for the ultimate welfare of the ceramic piece throughout as He patiently waits for the end product. While working with the clay He is very careful not to waste anything. Clay does not form itself. It has no will of its own. It submits to the Master Artist. It is in His presence and His loving eyes that He forms us.

Beautiful Lord, Wonderful Savior
I know for sure all of my days are held in Your hands
Crafted into Your perfect plan
You gently call me into Your presence
guiding me by Your Holy Spirit
Teach me dear Lord to live all of my life
Through Your eyes
I'm captured by Your holy calling
Set me apart, I know You're drawing me to Yourself
Lead me Lord I pray
Take me, mold me, use me, fill me
I give my life to the Potters hand
Call me, guide me, lead me, walk beside me
I give my life to the Potters hand
You gently call me into Your presence
Guiding me by Your Holy Spirit
Teach me dear Lord to live all of
my life through Your eyes
I'm captured by Your holy calling
Set me apart, I know You're drawing
me to Yourself
Lead me Lord I pray
