At an Hour when You think Not

D
dohzman Dec 7, 2007

Yesterday as I went through my busy day I rembered a dream I had about 20 years ago when I was simply looking at my hands and watched them transform (glorify) right in front of my eyes as the taking away of the bride of Christ was happening. Then an urgency to tell everybody I knew to get ready,"Jesus is Coming"!!!! It was almost like a panic gripped me that they needed to know and needed to know NOW!
Here than is my gift to any who has ears to hear, Let him/her who has unsaved loved ones be the voice of God to call all who are willing to come to the wedding feast. The time to run is now. The Word is sure, "Go ye there fore into the highways and by ways and compell them to come in".

Amen
I see two passages preceding this passage and that really relate directly to this passage itself.

Matt 23:34
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
KJV

Matt 24:43
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
KJV

Matt 24:44
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
KJV

Who is the thief?
John 10:10-11
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
KJV

Whilst there should be an urgency in our hearts to reach the lost before it is too late, many questions arise when thinking of such a thing.

When they get saved, where will they go for fellowship, teaching/doctrine, prayers as in Acts 2.

I deliberately did not say church, because we all view the word church in a different light.

For some it is a building, for some, the body of Christ worldwide etc.

With the state of Christianity in the west today, would we be deluding people into thinking they are saved when in reality they are not?

Would we be making them twice the child of hell than we ourselves already are? Matt 23v15

Would we be teaching them to embrace false teaching that is really humanism that uses biblical words like God and Jesus just to stop too many questions being asked?

These are not the end of my observations to say the least, tip of the iceberg, but they do need to be addressed and not swept under the carpet.

God bless.

Dear dohzman,

may I ask you to share some wisdom on how to compell your loved ones? Do you phone them every day to beg them to repent? Are we to run around and talk about Jesus and heaven and hell all the time?
Did God ever bid anyone to wait for a long time until to speak something into a persons life?
I am sincerely asking!

Actually compel means to use strong arguements, but what I've found that works best is to draw very very very close to God, through prayer and fasting, get full of the Holy Spirit and share the burden of God for thier souls with such love that overcomes death and the grave. That said, God may have something different for you to do. Here's a true testamony. Many years ago after I was first saved, I was reading from Gen14 about the battle of kings, the Holy Spirit lifted " And he and his servants deployed against them by night" out of verse15 to my understanding, as pretaining the groundwork for one who I was praying for in reguards to salvation. I understood it to be a nightwatch of prayer for thier soul. I wish I could tell you I obeyed, I lacked personal discipline, you see what ever God tells you to do in compelling them to come in will require the supernatural working of the cross applied to your soul, obedience always requires death to self. This individual did get saved but the Lord spoke to me days later and said they would be saved but the joy in bring them to Jesus I would not share. Sadly it happened just as the Lord spoke to me, but it was a painful lesson I never forgot and has become a well spring of life.

I believe if you wait on God and are diligent in prayer and the reading of His Word, He'll direct your paths in the way you should go, and it will have prefect results in the end. A witness can come across so many different ways through so many different methods it's really impossible to give a formula, it's all Jesus, and He's unlimited, John's gospel says that all the books in the world couldn't contain what He did in just 3 short years. Think about it though, you have an oppurtunity to be a channel for GOD, and experience the awesome working of Jesus through your life, it doesn't get any better than that in this life. Embrace the adventure of the cross with joy. I believe the Lord's waiting, a hearing ear and seeing eye , the Lord has made them both, may He grant you the grace to have a seeing eye and hearing ear to His plans and His Word. bro. daryl

Yes, the Spirit is speaking with an urgency
I have never heard; because the time is now
for men to hear the Word of the gospel and
repent and be saved; for the door of His
mercy will soon be shut, like the door on
the ark of Noah!
