This is a great idea. God wants us to have a heart for the persecuted church. Unfortunately, we don't hear much in the press about what is going on, but it's truly mind-boggling as to what many Christians face daily around the world.My prayer is that the corporate body of Christ would reach out to those parts of the body that are suffering throughout the world.

It would be great to bring up pieces on the persecution of the saints that are happening all over the world. Perhaps we can peer into news resources provided by VOM (Voice of the Martyrs) or other organizations that have their emphasis on this. It's my hope that this forum section become a place where people who want to excercise the gift of intercession can find current relevant issues to pray for in the places of: leadership, persection and current events.
Great Greg,Will follow your advice. I think VOM is a great resource as well as Open Doors and International Christian Concern. Although it is a time of great persecution and suffering, there are great movements of God in the midst of all of these difficulties.I'll see if I can share some of the stuff that is going on in North Korea as well, which is a place of incredible suffering, yet there's a tremendous move of God there.
