There is a song I like of Paul Wilburs. The words are also found in Zechariah 2:10. The words are For the Lord has taken your punishment, destroyed your enemies. King of Israel Lord of all is He. In the midst of you is mighty. For the Lord your God in the midst of you mighty is His name. Rejoicing over you with songs of gladness singing joyfully He will save us.
God promises to bless us if we are repentant. This is a message of hope and encouragement. Zechariahs name means Yahweh remembers. The Bible says He has written your name on the palms of His hands. Our name must be continually before Him. God is merciful. God will remember His covenant with us and keep His promises. We need to repent of our evil ways, return to the Lord with fasting and weeping and allow Him to help us rebuild the temple. He will dwell in our midst if we return unto Him with all of our heart. God will show Himself faithful on our behalf. He is mighty to save and He does rejoice over us.
