Devotional: As long as we sew the corrupted, soiled, weak strands of desire and interest of this life with the sovereignly woven threads of GOD…then we only produce lukewarm, diluted, surface focused, corrupted cloths for HIS service. Needless to say further, the time is crucial. We must select ONLY one spool of thread with which to create service fabrics for the Lost! Bend beneath HIS Crimson flow and be changed completely without past darkened threads still remaining in your pockets. Have mercy upon us, oh LORD, for too quickly calling our cloth manufacturings…as being soley sown by CHRIST in and through us. Amen and amen.
Solely Sown
The fool who sews with efforts twain
neglects the gift within them.
For to thread two forms of string
would mean that one seemed insufficient.
One strand, as such, is of this world…
attached with every hindrance.
Thus, the other is of Heaven
which descends on every son…with grace.
Yes, daughters – equal – touched as well…
so is their choice most crucial!
For the only fabrics made –
where fleshly hands – these pairs create…
are filthy rags which – oft – the fool will clothe themselves.
