--- Hey bro Chris ...
Forgive me :-D if i've come across a bit terse, but i have to admit i'm tired ... Even tho i know i probably shouldn't be as so many i know point out, God knows i am and that presently i'm kinda on a roller-coaster of some emotion here so much to the point that i was recently asked, "You really do believe this 2007 thing don't you" ? ... i wanted to spew, "Nahhh, i've just been excercising in this long weirdness for kicks" - but of course i didn't ---

"I think that you may have misunderstood the essence of my post. I didn’t mean to say that God doesn’t use the terrible situations in this world to bring people unto Himself. Rather, I meant to convey that disaster and calamity often brings about a temporary “conversion.” Once the storm dies down, people turn back to their old ways. It makes one question the validity of such a “conversion” that is motivated solely by fear or pain."
--- OK ... but there you go again with that broad generalization "people" ... i firmly believe that
perhaps many, if not most may revert, but some stick ... But my major point was not so much God somehow marginally using terrible situations in getting our attention but actually orchestrating them as He did with Israel and as pointed out in the posted vision in reference to Babylon ... i guess where we don't see eye to eye is that you're focused on the lasting effects on folk in such acts of God, while my focus is on why God has to do such things in the first place ... By your reasoning such acts of God are unprofitable but that's impossible because God says His words, or for that matter anything He does, never returns to Him void ---

"I didn’t post my comment with your prophecy in mind. Imagine if the prophecy that you and Ironman have made public actually came to pass. Will people stand and wonder what “sin” has caused the event (John 9)? I think that we often fail to realize that even God’s JUDGMENT is meant to bring about the work of God and lead people back unto Him.
--- i think the right people will, those who are supposed to, and amen on your latter statement that's exactly what His judgment is meant to do, and is precisely the message i know bro Ironman and myself have carried, "Repent pro-actively, instead of ra-actively", but then another thing it seems that so many of God's folk are too unaware of is that we think we're all pretty swell in God's eyes, and haven't a clue as to how poor, dumb, blind and naked we are, and i think much of the reason being is that we're not moving ever closer to the fire and light that exposes just how wretched we really are ... i once thought that more i surrendered and submitted myself before Him the better i would feel about my worthiness, man was i wrong for the closer i get the more i understand my filth and appreciate that if it we're not for my covering of His Blood i truly of myself have no righteousness whatsoever, and it really makes me understand why the prophets of old instantly fell down like deadmen in His presence, became undone, and knew that they we're men of unclean lips and no way worthy of His use for them ... But He decided! ---

"If God always gave men what we deserved, then who could stand? Even the most “holy” of saints would be destroyed by the letter of the Law. Yet the grace and mercy of God prevents this wrath."
---Of the former it's reall obvious that He doesn't dole out in an instant what we deserve and is propbably a big cause why we can become so spiritually lethargic, and complacent, and of your latter statement, "Yep, until the hour He decrees He's had enough" ... i don't know which is worse, to be a saint thinking "we're rich and in need of nothing", or to be one poor in spirit always relying on His grace and mercy to continually cover our crap while we grieve His Spirit ... He said, His Spirit will not always strive with us ---

"I am concerned for both of you in regards to this prophecy. I have faith that you both have an honest walk with the Lord that will withstand any calamity. However, if such a calamity doesn’t occur? Yes, you will be obligated to confess that you were wrong (at least, by naming a particular Gregorian calendar year). Yet we know that some dark days still lay ahead for this world. We should ALWAYS be prepared for the persecution and tribulation that exists throughout the world. We should ALWAYS learn to be content with the provisions that the Lord provides. Even though we may not truly know the day and hour (or calendar year) for a particular event beforehand – we can still be prepared for such an event."
--- Praise God that concern is soon to be resolved ... And yes "we all should", that's something so many of us saints are good at, saying, thinking, and sometimes even knowing what "we should" be, and what "we should" be doing, but quite often find ourselves lacking when the Master pops up on us for an account ---

"You are in my prayers. If the Lord wills, I hope to begin traveling at the end of the week. I will be in Tennessee for the Christmas holiday, and will return near the first. As I’ve said before, I am praying that the things that you’ve “seen” do NOT come to pass. I do this for the sake of my family, my neighbors, my countrymen and this world. I pray that God gives us more time to bring His message of redemption to mankind. Yes, America is filled with much hypocrisy. But God is able to perform a great work even before the times grow dark."
---Amen, i certainly understand why you're praying against this ... To be honest i kinda go back and forth too in that as i've said to bro Ironman i sure don't want to be proven "loopy" after all this time and energy but then i think about the people ... i try often not to think of the people, and the massive suffering, and sometimes think well maybe it wouldn't be so bad to be proven wrong, but on the larger picture when i compare what i believe to be His sharing with me of His own suffering at being our Owner yet having to satnd outside our doors knocking to gain entrance into His own Body, His own Bride, i think about "What about God's sake"? - and well that just outweighs everything else once placed in such a balance ... If no one really fears God anymore, which scripture states is the beginning of wisdom, then how many of us do you suppose really have any understanding of His pain toward our enactions, but yet we can fix our mouths to beg for more mercy, more time, instead of "Lord, do whatever is necessary to bringing us into Your proper line" ... Again where we don't meet eye to eye is you believe it possible for God to move a mighty work in us before times grow dark, and i on the other hand see that work and movement an assurity in a time of darkness ... In this particular aspect we'll soon know, if pro i'll be busily occupied in a new work, if con then i can finally stop being as spiritually weird as i've become ... As i say to brother Ironman, "Actually it's a Rom. 8:28 win-win situation for us for we're about to actually become either "free in it" or "free of it" ... But as always whatever the outcome may He get all the honor, praise and glory, and may praises towards Him ever proceed from our lips! ---
