personnally, i hate abortion because it employs violence to address a problem which could almost always be addressed nonviolently. nevertheless, if it was illegal, far greater harm would occur from black market, unsafe medical practices. it is a problem that will not be solved.

That figure is from America, since Roe vs. Wade in 1973. So its not 46, 000,000 every year-There's guestimates that roughly 50,000,000 babies have been aborted since 1973 in the United States.

I was thinking that was a high number for an annual rate. Thanks for the clarification....
Not that it isn't horrific enough to be over a 34 year period. 1.47 million annually is pretty bad for one country.
