Wish I could send you all an e-card or similar greeting.

There's a brilliant one on the Answers in Genesis site. Can't remember the exact wording but the shepherds are arguing about the Genesis account, if it was really 6 days of Creation. One says "How can you know? You weren't there!"

And the Baby in the manger is thinking, "I was there!"

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Love

Jeannette :-D

Are there cartoons on this website? Never realised! I know we can't post cartoons from outside (at least I didn't think so.

Can we, (maybe through special dispensation), Greg? ;-)

I have baptized several people just before the ice came on the lake here in Minnesota. I pray that God will be merciful and allow those wanting baptism to wait until summer! Joke: A southerner ask a Minnesotan: "What do y'all do in the summer up there?" The Minnesotan replied: "If it falls on a weekend, we have a picnic."

SDG and Merry Christmas,

Dave

I used to live at around 1,000ft above sea level, which is quite high for the UK, and gets fairly hard winters (not as hard as some of you!) There was a spoof local newspaper article about "Gritting Sunday", which was an annual festival sometime in June, marking the day when the gritter trucks began to spread salt and grit on the roads to melt the ice..

Jeanette,

Don't get me wrong, I love Minnesota. We have four seasons: Winter, Just after Winter, Just before Winter and Mosquito!

SDG,

Dave
