H
HomeFree89 Dec 29, 2007

Since we are coming up fast on the new year, how about posting the names of books (besides the Bible ;-) ) that you read (or partially read) this year and that helped you in your walk with the Lord?

Here are some that I've read:

The Overcomers by Richard Wurmbrand

Out of the Comfort Zone by Ray Comfort

The Cross and the Switchblade by David Wilkerson

The D.L. Moody Collection

This doesn't have to be a complete list and feel free to keep adding on to it.

That is a great book! I read it several years ago and it had a great impact on me. It was probably the first book the Lord used to start turning my heart towards the persecuted church.

I'm currently reading, The Truth War by John MacArthur. It's been really good so far.

Truth War is a very good book. If you like McArthur, you will also like Ashamed of the Gospel, it's been around for a while. Here is just a short list of one's Irecommend.

Tozer- God's Pursuit of Man, God tells the man who cares, The Radical Cross, The Counselor, Knowledge of the Holy.

Ravenhill- Why Revival Tarries, Revival God'S Way,

Murray- Humilty, Obedience, The True Vine, Absolute Surrender

Zacharias- The Grand Weaver

Leiter- Justification & Regeneration

Bunyan- Pilgrim's Progress

John Wesley- Power of the Holy Spirit

I should have just brought a book list from home, it would have been easier. Ican't believe I left out George Mueller and Oswald Chamber's , but I think a few have listed some of Chamber's works. Anyway, I hope this helps.
