Devotional: Revelation 3:15-16 “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou were cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of MY mouth.”
There was a “season” if you will, when CHRIST was alive on earth in human form. What followed was a season of winter like cold, when HE willing sacrificed HIS life for HIS own. As cycles go, so what followed was “Resurrection Sunday.” Though this servant longs for a release from the present burden, what bolsters my faith is plain. Unless I walk with CHRIST through all the seasons of change which mold me to be more like HIM, only one version remains. And anything less than “dying daily” to my flesh means that I am choosing the lukewarm constant through out life. Neither hot nor cold, the LORD says, so I will spew you out of my mouth. Embrace all the seasons of change which HE brings you through and rejoice as HE will find you with a fiery zeal which propels you in HIS work! Amen and amen.

Warm weather has brought news
of spring during winter…
of unneeded coats
and of discarded hats.
Warm weather though welcome
untimely for sweaters,
untimely for sledding,
and untimely for skates.
Though warm weather preferred
still ‘tis not its season!
Still Winter must flourish
or left is one cycle.
Though once more preferred,
every coin has two sides.
Hence, without Resurrection…
Death solely remains.
As HIS servant in your service,
