We are a powerless church because we have left the ancient landmarks.The church is no longer effective in changing peoples lives. We dont have enough prayer meetings. What happeded to the meetings where we were up all night interceding for the lost? We need to boldly go out proclaiming HIS Gospel. We need to quit preaching bless me bless me messages and get back to the message of Christ crucified for therin lies the power of salvation. We try to do things our way with our programs and methods. We need to lay in prayer seeking HIS message. It can no longer be our agenda. It MUST be HIS agenda. This is the ONLY way. Our ways are powerless. His ways are powerful.Death to self that comes when we embrace the cross produces life. As we do that HIS power comes upon us to change the world with this wonderful message.
LORD, Help us get back to YOUR way of doing things. Help us get back to YOUR cross wherein does lie the power of salvation. We thank YOU LORD for dying on the tree for us. Help us to go out and powerfully change the world for JESUS CHRIST. AMEN
