Conclusions that I am facing at the moment with end time stuff
qualifying my post
In a Christians mind set we have two thinking parts, one is the Adam thinking which is referred to as our Adam nature or sin nature (the old man) and then we have our born again spiritual thinking which is were we hear from the holy spirit when interpreting meat that is placed before us. Our battle every day is to spiritual overcome our “old man thinking” and imitate Christ in our actions and thoughts. We accomplish this by submitting our thoughts towards Christ, listening to the Holy Spirit and bringing every thought into Captivity and testing wether or not it is off God or Satan.
The bible is made of paper and ink which any body can read. They will only ever get the sin nature understanding. Spiritually dead people can only see this aspect of the bible. When we are born again the lord Jesus Christ is the word that became flesh and the bible becomes spiritually alive to us and our understanding is awakened by the Holy Spirit as we learn our master’s wisdom and life giving instructions.
Mark of the Beast
When I first came to Christianity I read many books on end times prophesy and went to every meeting possible about the subject. I could not fight against what they were saying because they had proven biblically with out a doubt that they were on track and I thought to myself, these men know the bible so well that they must be right. Something inside troubled me doubted this though as many of the preachers contradicted each other but yet I could biblically see all their principles to be literally true. Secondly many large occults from around the world had also come to the same conclusion. I asked myself, How can these occults who stood against the Deity of Jesus Christ and dismiss him as merely an angel or man and also reek of vomit because of their ungodly principles, come to the same conclusion as these Godly men that I have listened too that stand on the pulpit saying that they have had revelations revealed to them?
Here is my understanding of the following:
Mark of the Beast: which is 666 the number 6 stands for man therefore this number translated into it’s meaning is man, man, man – the mark of the beast spiritually is when a man’s whole desire is on himself, self help, self glorification, self achievement…. As Christians we are required to die to ourselves and to rise up and carry our cross for Christ. To resist the mark of the beast we must resist the common onslaught of teachings that are riddled through out our society today that drive our eye’s away from Christ and towards ourselves E.g: Psychology, Secular counselling. I am required by law as a counsellor not to counsel people in a religious manner and these people never seem fully free of their problems no matter how much their lives change for the better, where as when I witness with the authority of Christ, some people become free with in minutes because the holy spirit speaks to them in their own understanding and reveals what needs to be done to fix the situation.
The Anti-Christ: I see the spirit of the Anti-Christ through out our school systems, government organisations, charities, counselling services, churches. Christianity is a dirty word now. The subject was brought up in my work place by my co-workers, the reaction was with vile anger they will debate you and tell you how stupid you are to believe in a Christian God and with such anger and passion too. They would off crucified me and embraced Barnabas if they had the choice. I know longer look for signs and wonders through physical eye’s as I see it through Christ eye’s now. As Christians we must be a people of principles for it is here that the enemy is striking and trying to defeat us. The times are here and now if your waiting for the end times to happen then you are missing what’s going on now
Eph 6:12 “For we do not wrestle against FLESH and BLOOD, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places”
