Hebrews 12:14 says Pursue peace with all people and holiness without which no one will see the LORD.
How much more clearer can that be my friend? Holiness is required. It is the only life that pleases GOD. GOD REQUIRES HIS people to live a lifestyle of holiness, of being seperate from worldly influences. It is being of 1 mind with GOD of completely agreeing to what HE loves and hates. It is to have a decided bent mind toward GOD, a wholehearted desire to do HIS will. It is to have the goal of being transformed into HIS likeness. It is living a life of death to sin and the flesh. It is a drawing of boundaries in our life so we dont offend GOD. GOD demands that we are holy. In Habakkuk it says HIS eyes are too pure to approve evil. Holiness is an inner cleansing producing a life untainted meaning without sin. We are to be holy because GOD is holy.
My heart cries out LORD wash me in YOUR holiness. Make me more like YOU JESUS.May we see things through YOUR eyes. Amen.
