Devotional: Proverbs 14:20 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Permitted self-deception – in the midst of contrary fact – is an abominable place to have discovered. Left alone to our own devises and the path that we THINK is correct, then we shall suffer much indeed. What an errant exercise to follow after baseless, self staining interests! Rather! Kneel quickly! Bow low! Pursue the LORD JESUS CHRIST…and HIM only! Amen and amen!

So those “slight of hand” do err!
With their feet, such souls rebel.
Adding to their errant thoughts,
so they deceive themselves…as well.
The plainest facts – confronting
cause them to un-bend their knee!
Rather than confess – repentant –
they deny…and disagree!
Thus, such pretentious spirits
are the worst of all known factors;
when discovered in these hands…
as what self had “followed after”.
