Greetings SI community!I would like to cordially invite you all to this year's Cedars of Lebanon Conference in Dallas, Texas.The conference is sponsored by the Texas Baptist Men. (Check out their motto!)The conference will be held over Labor Day weekend, September 3 through 6.The speakers this year will be:Henry BlackabyRichard Owen RobertsHenry's son, Richard Blackaby, president of Canadian Southern Baptist Seminaryand Don Miller.There will also be a special time for the women to gather together with Henry's wife, Marilyn Blackaby.This conference is a must attend for those whose hearts cry out for revival! This is indeed a time of spiritual refreshing, but also a spiritual challenge. The men who speak bring a Word from the Lord. They, like Jeremiah, Stand in His council, speak His words to His people and turn them from their evil ways (Jeremiah 23:22).The cost of the conference is $140 and this includes meals and lodging. (The accommodations are like summer camp! Big cabins filled with bunk beds. Men and women are housed in separate quarters. There are other housing options if your physical health requires.) There is a $25 deposit. You will need to shop around for the best travel fare.I cannot, in words, express the joy I have had in attending this conference the last 5 years. (This is conference number 16!) This is a wonderful time to meet with godly men who have walked with God and sought His face in revival for more years than many of us have even been alive. It is truly a rare opportunity! The atmosphere is very casual and I use that term loosely. The sermons are very intense but at the same time, you can sit and sup with mighty men of God. All of the men who speak will freely sign books or sit with you and answer your questions!
