Public Apology

I would just like to say here on this forum, I'm sorry for posting so-called prophetic words. I didn't realize it was something we were told not to do. I suppose I don't get around and read enough in other places, but, nonetheless, I broke the rules and I'm sorry for that. I can honestly see why it just isn't a good place for it, anyway.

And I'm sorry for creating such a stir and for bucking Mike Balog's authority over it. That was wrong.

sincerely, Dian.

Well... I forgive you! :-)

Ya know, funny thing is, a lot of times a prophetic word is simply saying the right thing at the right time and encouraging someone. Or when discussing a topic that I am trying to understand someone will post something that makes the light go on for me finally.

We want to over spiritualize everything, and make prophecy some grand proclamation of future events straight from the throne of God... but I think 99% of the time it's a lot simplier than that.

God is very complicated. But how He works with us, and in us, and thru us is not. I'm not a theologian, never been to seminary, never sat at the feet of some great Bible teacher. So He has to make it simple for me.

And I simply believe that most of the time He gives us the words to say without us even realizing He is doing it.

I know every now and then I get PM's from people on here, some who have never posted but just read, and they encourage me because I said something 2 months before that touched their hearts. I have to go back and read what i wrote cuz I cant remember it. But they were obviously words that God gave me at that time for that person to read and be encouraged.... and I never knew it.

And He does that with all of us.

And I believe with all my simple heart that that is what real prophecy is 98% of the time.

What I just wrote is not an indictment on people who claim the gift of prophecy. It's simply me trying to encourage us all that we dont need to complicate things. Just let God be God.

God bless you Dian. Life is a continuum of growth. And it won't stop until you die. There will be false starts and if we are lucky, God will come along and inform us of these. :-) For some reason humans seem to learn quicker from mistakes. :-(

God bless you...

Hi Spitfire...

May the Lord encourage you, Sister! We are all walking this difficult straight and narrow road along this journey of life. But take heart: The destination is just over that little hill called "temporary."

:-)

Thank you, Dian.

"And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God." Phil. 1:9-11

Press on, dear sister, in following hard after Christ!

Dian, I've been in a similar place to you, (I claimed to be a teacher and intercessor).

I was clinging to "having a ministry" - actually "needed" a ministry - to justify my existence; when really all the Lord wanted was me!

The Lord had to (through the words and actions of others) strip me of every opportunity - everything I held dear - in this area. The main breaking happened in the space of less than a week - one blow after another!

I was deeply hurt, (almost destroyed, it seemed at the time), by what was perceived as others' rejection in the despising of my gifts; coming to the brink of a breakdown because of things that the Lord allowed to happen.

But this, I realised afterwards, was the only way He could get to the roots of the real problem of my heart and begin His work of restoration and healing.

Sister, you are not a prophet, but only a precious child of God who doesn't have to do anything or say anything to justify her existence for Him, and us, to love her.

Just like the rest of us in fact...

Don't give in to the temptation to despair, just know yourself loved.

In Him

Jeannette
