The books I have read and recommend are as follows.
With Christ in the School of Prayer - Andrew Murray.
Power Through Prayer - E.M.Bounds.
Praying Hyde - E.G.Carre.
These books have inspired me and have helped to view prayer differently.
You might already have these books. If so, then you will know what I mean.

This is a small and very concise book on prayer. It lays out very simply the vital parts of prayer: worship/praise, thanks, petition, intercession, faith, and wisdom (will of God).
Wesley Duewel also has some good books on prayer. Mighty Prevailing Prayer is one of them.
