faith vs presumption

Well Spitfire,
You have told us some, but maybe not all, but as time goes by, more will be revealed.

I'm not quite sure about this situation.

It sounds like it is your only source of income and that is why, possibly, you are worried.

Does he have a business plan which he goes by, or is it whatever the day brings?

I saw a programme on t.v years ago, before I was saved.

It was an opportunity for a young person to win some money for their business venture.

One young man based his business on 'luck'.

You could see the look of tired unbelief on the faces on the panel of judges. He did not win.

Even if someone believes God for their income, they should still be able to show what their plans are.

I basically do the same thing myself. I work from home, but my husband has an employer. So even if I didn't have any work for a while, we still have his income.

We have a mortgage to pay, and the bank manager isn't going smile when you say you are trusting God to pay the mortgage for you, even though we are.

As for scripture concerning this, we do need wisdom, and faith.

We see in the book of Acts that the apostles worked, did they not have faith in God?

The error is having faith in faith rather than faith in God.

Well, I have said too much. That's it for now.

God bless.
