I don't know about you and where you live or how you live. But if you are in the world and are noticing what young people and even those who are 30-40 years old, and i'm talking white, black, asian, hispanic (every color) are listening to you will notice how predominant Hip Hop music and culture is. From the slums of America to the suburbs, to England, to South Africa, to Canada, to the Phillipines - hip hop is everyone. The above website does a great job of "being in the world, but not of the world".

They sell these CD's, professionally done up for a very cheap price $2-$3 each.

This is a good website. Even tho I am not a huge fan of hip hop music, I did think some of this stuff is pretty good.

I am slightly hip-hop savy since my two older sons are into Toby Mac and KJ-52. I still prefer to throw down on some hair metal myself... Christian, of course.

You mentioned CD's for $2 - $3 dollars... where is that? Most of them were $13 or so, some around $8. Did I miss something?

Hey this is pretty cool. I grew up listening to hiphop, and I remember one time (after I became Christian) I asked God to show me some hiphop music that talks about the Bible.

Then sometime after I found these guys named Shai Linne and Timothy Brindle. And I simply loved these guys songs because a lot of the things they said would connect with scripture. When I became Christian, I had these deep thirst for reading the Bible, I would read the Bible at night time for like 3-5 hours straight. I couldnt put it down.

So when I heard the songs a lot of things these two rappers would say, connected with scripture. And these guys just rebuke, exhort, encourage and its all very good.

Theres actually a new album by Shai Linne called "The Atonement" and the whole album focuses on...well... the atonement. The Cross. And the songs have snippets from John Piper and CJ Maheney to make more clear the point of the songs. Really good stuff
