"Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God" (Isa. 50.10).
Just to highlight two or three phrases here...
"...That feareth the LORD..."
"...That OBEYETH..."
"...The Voice of His Servant..." (the Holy Spirit).
And so then, if we are doing the above, and still there is darkness, His call is to TRUST Him, and STAY upon Him.
The verse that follows this one contains a warning.
"Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks; walk ye in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow" (vs. 11).
Highlighting again, "the light of YOUR fire," (your own fire).
"...The sparks that YE have kindled..."
So if the Cloud is not moving, STAY under the Cloud. That is the very best place to be.
Time for prayer, seeking, waiting. God sometimes takes away our light so He can bring us into a higher vision.
(...Meanwhile, while waiting-- and this is just my own advice here, so weigh it-- we all have to eat and maybe support a family. Lots of work out there these days for a good electrician, I think. You can be working a job and be right in the centre of God's will and peace, without feeling you have to be doing something of an ecclesiastical nature. Your gifts, commit them into the Hands of the One who gave them. He will take care of them.)
