It has been sometime since my last post although I check back often to read the some post. I haven't posted much because of the fact I believed a relationship with the Lord should impact every aspect of a person's life, even politics.

Recently I shared my faith and attempted to encourage other veterans in God Word and his promises on that forum. There was a thread launched about the upcoming election. I had shred my faith before on other threads without comment. Below is the results of when I attempted to share my faith on the political thread.
Addressed to me below:
I am offended when someone won't stop when asked politely. What is left to a Moderator when gentle hints or requests are ignored?
If a Moderator on Hadit asks you to stop you need to do that. I personally consider that this has reached the point of harassment and it has got to stop.
As a Moderator I am asking you to please stop posting about your religious beliefs. If TBird were to ask me I would vote to close all political discussion.
I don't really want to see another rebuttal just keep in mind that this is a warning.

I am sorry your offended Pete. You are easy offended if God's Holy Word offends you. What if I was offended by some of what the other comments that were made? Tough It wouldn't matter would it? Double standard right. Is one who believe and speaks God's Word matters have less rights than others. What is the difference between taking about God's precepts and Words than when we tell people that we are praying for them. I wasn't cussing anyone or using bad language such as about a rats body parts. As I said, anyone can say anything about anything, but don't mention Jesus's name or word, is the mindset of today's world. My religious beliefs are much more important to me than other matters are. I was not harassing anyone. Everyone on here has a right to read or not to read, respond or not respond. It's up them. I think I know what is going to happen here in retaliation of this post but just as the disciples did when the pharisees killed them to shut them up, they spoke anyway. It was nice being on hadit. I hope you can cope with your decision whatever it may be and I think I know what that is.
The truth is you knew I would respond to this post and you are justifying the fact you are booting me off of hadit because you are convicted by his word. You know how a soldier takes a "you better not" and a soldier of the Lord has more motivation than a military soldier does, I just hope you can take the outcome of it and how the Lord feels about his word being censored and the boot because of it. Your call.

Another moderator after my rebuttal:
Listen carefully people because I don't have time for this more than once. This is a board to help veterans thru their claims. Yes, in these OTHER forums we discuss other things, but here it's mainly about claims. I am sick - physically sick, and when I log onto here I am making a real physical effort... Only to be greeted with politics and preaching.
1. The politics are ok - this is the proper place for them since they will be discussed... (sigh) Even if I choose NOT to read most of them, its the right place to post your opinion on them.
2. Put the preaching elsewhere (specifically you Danang), and as advise to the rest of the membership... or I will.
It's just that simple. No second warnings, your posts will simply disappear... If you feel the need to preach religion go somewhere else, instead of taking the EASY way out and coming to a large ready made audience. An audience derived from another's work and effort. Go start your OWN board... but that wont get you all this attention because nobody would come right?
People come to Hadit for help with the VA and have to wade thru junk like this? Its simple - read the rules and follow them, if you dont get banned. I am sick of this and am totally INTOLERANT of other religious views when they are trumpeted here. So, in short - shut up or ask real questions about claims, but dont you DARE preach ANY religious view, or in ANY way infer one is better than another.
Dont you DARE quote scripture - or I will smite you... even when used offhandedly.

Obviously this is a touchy subject with me. I take offense at anyone preaching to me. It is outlined in the rules Tbird laid down that this is NOT the place for it. Your response to Carlie was... well you get your once chance guy, and you JUST used it up.
I am so ticked off... people come here because OTHERS have worked hard and established a large membership - honestly Hadit is getting really big because of the hard work of people like Carlie, and of course Tbird, and someone waltzes in and decides Hey! I dont have to do all the hard work and effort to get MY message heard, I'll just say it HERE. Well no you WONT! If someone is offended by the fact that I find religious discussion improper on this board - too bad. Go build your own pulpit...

Wake up Christians; we can huddle up like the pharisees and only preach to each other and pretend we are seeking HIM and revival or we can stand and proclaim HIS name to the world everywhere in everything and every subject as HE intended for us to do.
