I found this quote from General William Booth, the founder of the Salavation Army, that was made at the beginning of the 20th century, when he was asked what he thought to be the biggest biggest danger to the world. He said;[b]
“I consider that the chief dangers which confront the coming century will be religion
without the Holy Ghost; Christianity without Christ; forgiveness without repentance;
salvation without regeneration; politics without God; and Heaven without Hell.”
His words were prophetic, with the Churches of our day---[b]the "purpose driven, mega-church, emergent churches", and prosperous world of modern Christianity, the big churches have become big business.
[color=FF0000][size=medium]And the message of health, wealth, and prosperity has virtually replaced the message of salvation, through faith in Christ alone. What has happened and what is happening to the message of the Cross?[/color][/size]
