Songs by Larry Norman

I will not write about the ins and outs of Larry's personal life. He was a very conflicted man with many personal struggles and failures... and yet, by God's grace He used Larry to speak to many many people. Much like David... an adulterer and murderer who wrote the most beautiful poetry about God in the Book of Psalms. Larry's music was filled with honest emotions of a man who struggled, and I think that is why his music was so appealing. No bubble gum, no "Kum-by-ya"... it was more like "I hurt, God"... and Larry also pointed a finger at the church and cried "hypocrite" when no one else would.

Larry was not a pastor, was not a "minister"... he was a song writer. As such, even tho he was divorced, I think he had a legitimate voice.

There are seven "best of" CD's available on his website. Agitator is a pretty gone one to start with. Also, there was the "Trilogy" of 3 albums... you can read more about those on his website as well.
