Satanic cults are on the rise in an unexpected location – Rome, says a Catholic priest.

"There is a greater openness towards the devil," said Father Gabriele Amorth, the Vatican's Chief Exorcist, to the Christian Broadcasting Network.

Father Pedro Barrajon, a Catholic priest in Rome, stated, “Satanism and the occult are in fashion.”

Tragically, this is true.

On SI we are seeing reports of 'lying signs and wonders' in FL; Catholics warming to Satanism; etc.....I have a question: in the pre-reformation era when men stood up to the status-quo and brought about change, was the Catholic church then as wicked as popular Protestant Christianity is today?

I have a question: in the pre-reformation era when men stood up to the status-quo and brought about change, was the Catholic church then as wicked as popular Protestant Christianity is today?
