I can't find the actual word REVIVAL IN the Bible but the root word revive IS and some synonyms such as restore.

Maybe some feel since the actual word "revival" is not in the Bible it is as "RAPTURE"

I don't think so. The actual word may not be there but the reference is.

What is stopping the personal walk with our Savior, Jesus Christ, that other believers had in times past? [b]What is stopping true revival in our Churches of today? [/b]

As Christians we are aware that Christ died for our sins, once and for all, past, present and future. [b]This is salvation, and we all know that we are saved and are not going to hell.[/b]

However, we still continue to miss the mark, and make mistakes. A carnal thought; a lustful look at another mans wife; Gossiping about a Brother or Sister in Christ that should not be said--just to name a few. Unless we are faithful to confess each and every sin to Christ, as well as to personally, face to face confess to the Brother or Sister in the Lord that we made the cutting remark about, then we lose [b]relationship[/b] with our Father in Heaven.

We become Law Breakers by not asking forgiveness when we sin. These sins can not only be our deeds, things that we have actually carried out, but the sins that also take place in our hearts and minds. These sins must be washed clean with the blood of the Lamb.

There is a term that describes this condition, that the Church of today finds itself in--this lawless condition. It is called [b]Antinomianism.[/b]

The root of the word is Antinomian:

[b]Antinomian, n. One of a sect who maintain, that under the gospel dispensation, the law is of no use or obligation; or who hold doctrines which supersede the necessity of good works and a virtuous life. This sect originated with John Agricola about the year 1538.[/b]
