I began a related thread about my new tract, but figured I should share this info with everyone...
For those of you who purchase tracts from ministries, I recommend printing your own at Americasprinter.com. This allows you full control of the message on the tract, since many tracts are theologically weak. As well, you can personalize with your church info or email. Maybe split the cost and tracts with some friends?
It can be as cheap as $99 for 5000 full color tracts, or $250 for 20,000!!! (One for every person in a small town) That's 1.2 cents per tract!
I usually print on 16pt (thick) glossy card stock, in the 1/8th page size. These resist moisture and are sturdy enough to stick in car window seals, and fit in my wallet. This is a little more expensive, at $129 for 5000, or $170 for 10,000. They hold up real well, though. That's still just 1.7 cents per tract!
For examples of tracts that I've made, you can look here:
To listen to a song about passing out tracts (written by one of our own SermonIndex members, Abraham Juliot) click here:[url=http://www.theopenlife.com/music/abrahamjuliot/gospel_tracts.mp3]Gospel Tracts

May God bless your service to Him in the work. Let's pray for one another to have compassionate boldness.
