Hi everyone - I am starting a "Florida Healing Revival Information" web page. I need your help - if you run across any good articles videos or audios that clearly proclaim the truth according to Scripture please let me know so I can post them on the page. The more information I have the more compelling the page will be and the more search engine will pick it up.

Brother,

In some ways we are helping promote this by even calling it "revival" and talking about it. If people starting to actually promote events like the revival conferences: https://www.sermonindex.net/revivalconference.php

etc that would probably bear more fruit and give people more of a sense of what true revival is. Just a thought.

I hear what you are saying Greg - but I just want to have a page out there that people who are searching for info on the internet can come across and get some sound Biblical teaching and advice on the subject - we can't just ignore it and hope it goes away - we must warn people by speaking and preaching the truth about what is happening.

I agree about the revival conference and I will promote that also on my site - Thanks Greg and God bless you brother!!!

I've looked at this site (below) and found some good inside information on the "Latter Rain" movement that includes the people involved (Bob Jones in particular). I'm not trying to use information to condemn anyone involved in this movement but I have a relative that has been into this stuff so I've been following it for a few years. I've read books by Joyner and others involved (given to me by this relative when I was a babe in Christ) and never felt comfortable with any of it. On this website earlier(sermon-index)there was an article published by Lee Grady, this site (below) gives quotes about his criticism of the Latter Rain movement a few years back and talks about him going back on his word..now I read the article today about Grady and hope he's coming to his senses.

I am not as familiar with the site as I would like to be but what I have seen seems credible and I think they have Spurgeon and other sermon's on there as well.

Thanks for the links - I will put them up on the page as soon as I get a chance.

I just added a few more items to the page including the radio interview Andrew Strom and myself did with David Eells. Check it out and be sure to let me know if you run across any good articles, audio or video on Lakeland.

I had over 500 hits on the different articles and recourses when the page crashed and I had to re-do it late last night and reset the hit numbers. It looks like there have been 600 - 700 hits on the items in just the past 3 or 4 days all together, so hopefully people who are searching for information are running across these resources.

Why did you not feel comfortable with it? Why, if you was a babe in Christ - were you not vulnerable to deception? Exactly, what kept you from it?

I have a few ideas:

1.Can a child of God be deceived very long without the Lord's conviction?

2.Does deception not occur by a deliberate act of the will in refusing to believe the truth and substituting it for something more appealing to the flesh?

Just some thoughts..would appreciate any responses to them, either pro or con...
