California Legalizes Same Sex Marriage

B
BrianPaul May 15, 2008

I was watching the news a few minutes ago and heard the California Supreme Court has overturned the ban on gay-marriage. Here is a article i found for you all to read about this if you haven't already heard. This is breaking news, as of today. This has made me angry, but also at the same time i see my God in Heaven being Sovereign over all things. Hopefully this country will rise to see how far we have stumbled from the decrees of the King of kings.

We need to pray for the brothers and sisters in California. Hopefully God will convict many and they will throw those ungodly judges out when they get revived. If not, God could break California off in the ocean. Notice I said God could, not would. Not making a Hagee prophecy statement now. I repeat not making a prophecy statement or even wishful thinking. The first scenario would be the blessing on the people being revived and the judges reversing their decision or the people throwing them out of the judgeship, judge with the little j.
There is a righteous remant in California that maybe saving them now.

edit:
things that irritate me the most.

1.liberal judges
2.People who elect people who appoint liberal judges by their ignorance.
3.people who think earn their salvation than being rather thankful for it.

Amen on us having the victory in JESUS. I believe this is also a idea time to show honor and glory to the KING, as we " STAND IN THE GAP for hIS righteousness. He says, in His word, I'm sure you have it in your heart so I won't find it, I look for a man to stand in the gap and I found none. He found one, "Jesus" stood in the gap for us while we were yet sinners. He enables us to stand in the gap now for His precepts. It is not a burden but a priviledge to do. Thanks for reminding me and others THAT we have the victory through Jesus. We need to encourage each other all the more as we see the day approaching.
Praise HIM with our honor to HIM by our allegiance and our actions. We can't repay HIM and what we can do is very little for what He done. I pray for you brother, and I pray for Northern Ireland. May God help us all in this wicked and adulterous generation. Ireland is where my ancestor come from. The first 2 letters of my last name is Mc

We reap what we sow, We have pumped homosexuality into our children by the thousands of hours by tv,magazines and music and the rest. Along with every other sin and wile thing there is.

So this is just natural these things happend. When sowing apples we must be stupid expecting tomatoes.

We have sown sin and will reap judgement

It will only get worse and worse just as the word has told us.

but a few will belive and repent.

Let us work while it is day still

Sin upon sin.

Great ...

This is actually from my home town newspaper, one that I long ago quit subscribing to for a variety of reasons, primarily as a waste of money not being read ... it has it's tendencies at times, it's particular bent.

However,

If you read through the article, take note that this is far from over. The voters will have their say come November, as it should be and as it was before this usurping.

sermonindex May 16, 2008

It is a sad day for this country, for heterosexual families and marriages, for children who will now ask "why are they so difference". Judgement rains on the just as well as the unjust....

Brothers and sisters please, lets keep on crying with strong tears as did Christ for the glory of God, lest we continue to decay and have to continue to suffer with catastrophe and pain such as Katrina, Myanmar, and even China......

Pray Saints, this is not a task for the faint at heart....this is a sad, a very sad day

In our Jesus' name

It'll be interesting to see what the governor will do. He is opposed to it. He also was very strong in supporting parents who home-schooled and helped settle that situation.

Are you talking about Gov "I'll be back" He is about as liberal as they come. He would make a good running mate for Obama.

All politicians are in Gods hands, we should be building Gods kingdom and not be so worried about these earthly kingdoms.

Scripture says honor the emperor, not to elect them , vote for them or support them.

Our governments are abominations before God and we should not be involved.

They are opposed to God and his standards, and we need never worrie about who leads the nation, god has everything in control. so says scripture

Dan 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

so we can relax, knowing even the most ungodly government is allowed to rule because god has put them there. And he will work all according to his purposes.

So there is no need for us to be concerned about elections and so on, they wont change Gods eternal plans .

we live by faith in God and trust him for everything.

Does God care who we choose? Would he be pleased if we choose one who did not honor Him?

Man just think instead of choosing Joshua, what if the Isrealites could have chosen one of those who guys who went with Joshua and Caleb to spy out the land. The ones that we look like grasshoppers, maybe we should just stay here and mind our own business and make friends with them even though they serve other Gods. What if, instead of chosing Joshua they would have chosen a man who said, I don't care what God says, all Gods are the same, let's go by and do what seems right in our eyes. They would have never got to the land of milk and honey and you know the rest of the story on what a blessing the whole world would have missed.
Yea what a Christian attitude. It may sound honest and lovely but is it?
Wake Christians, God gave you scripture and a brain.

so if i or you or even all christianity dont vote for God defying, God hating politicians, Gods eternal purposes will fail and no single christian will enter into the promise land?

sermonindex May 16, 2008

Is that your theology. I didn't write that, you did. I'll draw you a picture. God's eternal plan will play out, everyone that has trusted Christ alone and made him both Lord and Savior will be saved, but each one who is saved will give an account of what He has done. To know to do good and do it not is a sin. My one vote may not make a drop in the bucket but at least I can stand before the Lord both now and then and say Lord I tried. I STOOD FOR YOU AND THOSE WHO STOOD FOR YOU AND CALLED OTHERS UNTO YOU.
Do I need to draw any further pictures

H
hmmhmm May 16, 2008

so all other christians who dont vote for who ever you are voting for is sinning?

Who should christians vote for in your opinion?

I dont know one in American elections, not in swedish either, even the so called Christian candidates wont do so much to change the nations.

Whitch one of American candidates holds a bible and says this is what we will follow if you elect me.

I dont see how it is good to vote, when there is no clear biblical candidate, and i meen everything.

One who satnds up for the bible and Gods view on things, not on some but all.

until then i would see it as a sin to vote for someone who allows same sexmarrige, abortion, wars, and so on and on.

this of course is my view and theology, i can respect you for yours brother.

But i fail to see how you reason

I try follow Jesus, he dident tell us to do these things brother, he dident start a group to try vote away the evil high priest or a political party against Cesar. To try to get about a change.

I dont vote, because i belive all that are available in my country stand for the opposite of what the sum of the Word of God teaches.

And i dont want to be supporter of such things.

sermonindex May 16, 2008

Unfortunately all the candidates are God-defying, God-denying, whatever else you can think of... This is the worst batch of candidates in the history of America, I think.

I didnt think it could get much worse than Al Gore... but Washington has proven me wrong yet again.

[url=http://www.bibleviews.com/Schleitheim-JCWenger.html#four]From the The Schleitheim Confession of Faith[/url]

4. Seperation from Abomination

Fourth. We are agreed [as follows] on separation: A separation shall be made from the evil and from the wickedness which the devil planted in the world; in this manner, simply that we shall not have fellowship with them [the wicked] and not run with them in the multitude of their abominations. This is the way it is: Since all who do not walk in the obedience of faith, and have not united themselves with God so that they wish to do His will, are a great abomination before God, it is not possible for anything to grow or issue from them except abominable things. For truly all creatures are in but two classes, good and bad, believing and unbelieving, darkness and light, the world and those who [have come] out of the world, God's temple and idols, Christ and Belial; and none can have part with the other.

To us then the command of the Lord is clear when He calls upon us to be separate from the evil and thus He will be our God and we shall be His sons and daughters.

He further admonishes us to withdraw from Babylon and the earthly Egypt that we may not be partakers of the pain and suffering which the Lord will bring upon them.

From this we should learn that everything which is not united with our God and Christ cannot be other than an abomination which we should shun and flee from. By this is meant all popish and antipopish works and church services, meetings and church attendance,* drinking houses, civic affairs, the commitments [made in] unbelief and other things of that kind, which are highly regarded by the world and yet are carried on in flat contradiction to the command of God, in accordance with all the unrighteouness which is in the world. From all these things we shall be separated and have no part with them for they are nothing but an abomination, and they are the cause of our being hated before our Christ Jesus, Who has set us free from the slavery of the flesh and fitted us for the service of God through the Spirit Whom He has given us.

Therefore there will also unquestionably fall from us the unchristian, devilish weapons of force -- such as sword, armor and the like, and all their use [either] for friends or against one's enemies I would like the records -- by virtue of the word of Christ, Resist not [him that is] evil.

guuys , I do not think it about liberals and democrats that dictate morality, these two parties both create horrible politics and policy.

It is about the hearts of Christians, we have not taken our stand.

If u compare these times to those of scripture, God's remnant, His prophets and Apostles are the one in which spread good news and conviction to the leaders and powers that be.

This isnt about Obama or Mccain, this is about a Godless nation, we must hold ourselves, if we call ourselves the "eclesia", the called out ones, the ones who stand for righteousness, than WE must hold our selves Accountable!

Again, let us sincerely fast and pray like our predecessors between the porch and the altar, I firmly believe God will hear us.

If HE can find one who cries out, I believe He will aid us! This is not CRAP!!!!!!

HE will come to the rescue of not only this nation but others, it is one main method in which HIS love is measured through us.

Lets get off this board for a few days at a time or weeks and humbly sit between the porch and the altar and just cry. I am just asking, not ranting, not calling anyone out, just a Strong recommendation...

Love u bros
