gift of discerning of spirits

for those who would say this is not for today, might note that this gift is not a lot of fun and nobody really wants it for a fun to have thing. It is a glorious gift and is only for those who want to pay a big price to have a gift that is only used to bring God glory. I am going to show you how it works so God can be glorified through me. The Lord shows me that some who are in league with the devil are using witchcraft against the forums. They will say they are christians and use christian words but it was revealed as I was seeing it that they are using a technique that is designed to seduce people away from Jesus. so watch out for those who ask questions like these. should we go to church, another, should we worship God all the time, another, are we supposed to believe the trinity. the devil said in the garden to Eve-- hath God said? She ate the forbidden fruit. don't be afraid but just make sure that what you believe about God is truth, and hold fast to your convictions. each of us must seek out our own salvation with fear and trembling. a good kind of fear is fear of God. Phil. 2:12 discerning of spirits is used to protect the sheep-- our brethren. it is only possible through the Holy Spirit. Jn. 16:13 the Spirit will lead you to all truth, he is the Spirit of truth my quote.

God only gives gifts to glorify himself. No gift from God will not glorify him, just as his word does not return void.

Discerning between spirits is, indeed, as important today as it has ever been. In accordance though, a christian must also be able to distinguish between the soul and the spirit. God has been showing me the difference between living from His Spirit which is life and living from my own soul power which is death indeed. I suggest Watchmann Nee's book "The latent power of the Soul".

Brodav..Frederick..I agree with you...rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft..and the soulish rebellion that refuses to acknowledge sin and leans on it's own understanding..after repeated warnings..is in rebellion to God's will living only for their own will..pretentious and presumptious, refusing to except correction..these lawless ones go about distracting others while they play around with the will of God..Judas with his hands on the wheel..spiritually bulimic..never digesting fully gorging themselves at our lovefeasts and then vomiting up their opinions as though from the Lord Himself..never intending to bend their knees..never asking what would you have me do Lord?..fleshly fruitless worthlessness becomes rampant..sins pile up..many are defiled as they are drawn blindly into the fray.Worse part is that they would crucify the Lord afresh and never blink an eye..oh that's Jesus' job to clean up after me when I am wrong,He paid the price..using their liberty to insult the spirit of grace..trampling underfoot the blood of Christ by using it as a common excuse for their own unwillingness to submit..oh!He doesn't mind, that's what He died for..and they never take responsibility for themselves..they simply won't stop transgressing and attack viciously those who try to warn..it is burdensome and grievious to those who are in earnest to do God's will more perfectly and to obey Him diligently...that we would be worthy of Christ in His purity and holiness..God will perfect us as He desires to present us spotless and pure..for Jesus sake!

You are right brother..the true gift of discernment is no cake walk..it requires that you be so loving and so patient..and it involves long genuine prayer and faithful commitment..stamina most do not even want to have...Humilty is a must..and so we are always having to go lower..yield and be impartial but firm and clear..forgiving put not timid or slack.

Interestingly enough is the (paradigm)shift..the change from the surrendered yielded vessel who acknowledges God's righteousness saying from the heart..We give you the glory God.. to God be the glory..we glorify You Oh God... to God belongs the glory etc...over to today's ever increasingly popular..give us the glory..we want your glory ..we want the glory..while false leaders tempt openly..do you want the glory?..I believe that was Lucifer's line when He seduced all those angels into following him into rebellion..give me the glory!Covetious mess this creates in a people designed to serve God..who become twisted into believing that God is here to serve them and give them whatever they want..whenever they want.A sad state of affairs indeed.

thanks for standing with me. The world doesn't have any idea of the darkness and that is what Jesus emphasised many times. It is time for christians to open their eyes and see that God has equiped us with many tools to use to stand as lights. no one realises how much hidden control is working on their lives. I am so thankful that God has commited himself to be a far greater power on our behalf. The Holy Spirit was given us to endue us with power. no wonder everything is thrust at us who have it and to keep others from getting it. even rebelious christians are trying to keep others from getting it. Jesus made a bold statement when he said father forgive them---- for they know not what they do. we lean on God in full dependence so we will not find ourselves manifesting dark actions and stay close to the Lord in prayer. even Peter himself when he told Jesus not to go to Jerusalem was rebuked by Jesus as a demon tried to speak through him. Jesus said that was not Peter but a spirit speaking. I'm sure Peter must have apologised. but we will have to be like Jesus and go where the father directs us, despite dark powers speaking through the mediums he chooses. we all can be thankful that in America we have the freedoms to talk about Jesus. we must pray for the open doors of the gospel and christian music that is edifying, right now there are those who are trying to shut it down. I heard all it takes is a signiture. see silencing christians .com God bless Jesus love to all.
