Wow, like a miracle this site was revealed to me

I have arguments with people sometimes, too often so I give up, and keep these things to myself, if I must. For example.Jessie-Penn Lewis writes in the "Definitions of Words Used in this Book" that "Possession: any hold which the evil spirits have in or upon a person in any degree. They "possess" that which they hold". I love this definition for it sits right in my spirit. To me this means all sin, even the most infinitesimal, can and is used by the evil spirit to hold over a person by the degree of that sin that Christian or sinner gives into so that we can say that all Christians are possessible by the evil spirit just not ever deeper than the Holy Spirit of Eternal Life, of course. For example, what urks me is hearing Pentecostals tout that they can't be possessed. Hogwash. I would hate to legalize this word "possession" so that it only applies to desimembodied demonic possession of the gravest kind that happens all of a sudden one day without consideration for that possessions and strongholds gained that led up to it.In the Bible the word Posession is used in different instances both good and bad kinds. Let us not legalize words.
