Poison or Sword

Dear Saints,

Many here agree that we live in perilous times. Apostolic Christianity is becoming a rare exception. The apostate church is beginning to take shape linking ties and bridging gaps where there formerly were insurmountable division lines.
Protestantism and Catholicism, New Age, Islam and Hinduism is converging into one religious system that will take dominion over the earth for a short while.
The powers of darkness are working overtime to bring forth the anti-Christ system that the prophets foretold.

Here in the West Satan uses seductive tactics. Dilution and erosion of truth attacks our foundation. The Emergent Church allows you to live out your spirituality in a Christian context alongside other religious faiths. False prophets lure the gullible into a false hope. Kingdom Now promises ruling without suffering. Healing conferences offer healing without holiness. Prosperity teaching promises wealth without wisdom.

I am currently visiting a number of Islamic countries. You see a lot less filth openly displayed. Women dress more decent. Immorality and depravity exists in these countries, it is just more frowned upon and takes place in secret. Christians in these countries are living under oppression and persecution.

We in the West claim that we enjoy religious freedom and represent the free world and they live in countries where there is no religious freedom.

I believe that the seduction under which we live in the West is just as satanic as the oppression in Islamic countries. I once told a Christian from the Middle East that I admire them for their virtues of risking their lifes for their faith. He replied that he thought that our lot is harder because of all the temptation that is around us. Persecution keeps him on his path.

The sword of persecution and the poison of seduction is the Satan’s dual strategy to destroy the church. He will fail at the end because the gates of hell shall not prevail against the kingdom of God.

May God help us to prevail.

Brother, your eyes were opened to see that truth. I see very few, very few from West, that can see and realize that. Most of are just simply blind and drunken of the wine of Babylon. There is no such thing as to chose lesser from two evils, evil is evil. In the West is preaching false Christ and false Christianity, and all that in the name of the God of the Bible. Seduction is so great, because people believe that the idol that they have created in their churches, is the real God of the bible. Not realizing that it is not.

Don't forget what ANTIchrist means, it means also in greek "instead of" or "in the place" of Christ. That's why John says that many antichrists are even today, because someone else, not the Lord Jesus Christ has took the place, presenting themselves as Christ.

My heart was broken when I read in a newspaper few years ago, an article about when America gave "freedom" and "democracy" to Afghanistan, and first thing that people rejoiced there were McDonalds, Coca Cola, Movies from Holywood made in the pit of hell, and of course this leads open doors to more perversion and "freedom" to enjoy more in sin. I know that there are true men of God bringing the true gospel of the Kingdom of God in these countries, but many if not the majority of them are just bringing their false 'McDonald''Christ' that they have invented in their countries.
