It is difficult for for to see what Stephen's title was. Apostle, Deacon,???? He was one of the seven that was chosen, full of the Holy Spirit to serve tables in appeasing those who were griping about being shorted. Stephen was not concerned with his title but only pleasing the Lord. The men with Stephen, the Apostles, have already fully proclaimed the written truth of God's Word and in it they told of Stephen's dedication to the Lord. We need men who are filled with the Holy Spirit like Stephen, not to be Apostles or to write additional truth to be as false Apostles as talked about in Revelations, but to be full of the Holy Spirit enough to interpret the truth that the Apostles already wrote in the Word, then proclaim (echo)it boldly. We have too many men who want to be Apostles and actually write additional truth, rather than proclaiming the truth that has already been written.
Kind of same kind of concept, as we see in the American liberal judges we have observed lately, that legislate from the bench in opposition to the existing God honoring laws that has been already written, to promote their own personal liberal lying agenda. As did the California judges who used international (world law) Canadian and Netherlands to justify their vote for homomsexual marriage being legal. This type evil such allowing homosexuals to foster and adopt children has become very prevalent in the world today. why, because so many who proclaim to be Christians have joined in the devil agenda, some by their silence, as well others with their activity, in falsely in the name good and just. And others who are deceived that God honors their silence about His righteousness.
