Does anyone know if the The Truth Project from Focus on the Family is related to Rick Warren and the Emergent Church movement? Our church is beginning this study in two weeks and I would like some information and feedback on this program. I would appreciate whatever feedback anyone would be able to give me. Thanks :-)
You can google The Truth Project, there is a link to George Barna who is emerging church. I don't understand why churches do programs. Isn't obedience to God's word enough?

Just to let you know I went through most of the truth project and all of it seems pretty biblical to me. Its more like apologetics and I think you will benefit a lot from it. If anything it is a good alternative to such a one that wants to watch an series of episodes on tv but doesn't want to just watch anything rather instead something of edifying nature.
The Truth project is about defending your faith,
having a ready answer for those who want to know
the reason for the hope that dwells within, and
adopting a Christ-centered world view.
