I'm a twenty-one year old kid thinking about marriage. I would love to hear some expereinces that the brothers on this site have had in their marriage. The reason I'm bringing this up is because I have a girlfriend and we've promised our future together serving the Lord. At first it was all good. There aren't too many people in love with Jesus as my girlfriend. She is really eager and thirsty after the Lord God and desires to see Him glorified, to see the one lost soul saved...
Recently we've gotten to some fights over vairous disagreenments and she has attacked my character. I tell you that it really hurt. To have someone that knows you best attack you and not build you up.
So, I wanted to hear about the honest struggles of marraige that the brothers here have expereinced. How it was solved, and what you've learned. And if you're struggling with it would it be too much to ask to share that as well? I'm just finding out how tough relationships really are.
