Saints,

This is a Powerful prophetic word from Leonard Ravenhill. Oh may we pay heed to such a word, such a burden, such a clear message from God. "Sacrifice not sacrifice" Oh how we need to live the true Christian life in our day.

This is a stirring compilation. What privileges we have as todays generation of christian, may we walk according to the grace God has given us, may we make the most of what we received.

not even half way through it... simply amazing. May the Lord remove the scales from our eyes and rip the fear from our hearts.

Luk 12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom [his] lord shall make ruler over his household, to give [them their] portion of meat in due season?

Luk 12:43 Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Luk 12:44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

Luk 12:45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

Luk 12:46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for [him], and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

Luk 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not [himself], neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many [stripes].

Luk 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few [stripes].

[b]For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. [/b]

This is important to remember while were feasting on all of these sermons and attending all of these bible conferences!

Wow!! Ravenhill was a man of passion and power. May God raise up others to preach with the conviction he had.

As I listened to this I thought, "Lord, would I be so anxious for your return if I had this playing in my ear as I went about at my job or at the places I trade and see the vacant looks on the faces of those lost?"

But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentence.
II Peter 3:8-9

He waited 15 years for this backslidden soul, and I am ever so grateful. May He patiently hold out a bit more.

The thought that He can't trust me....... Oh God forgive me for my apathetic way of life. Have mercy on me for my lack of obedience and immaturity.....

Wow... Will we love with the depth of passion that He has taught and shown us of Himself? Can we really know love from our soft temperate place and it the god of this world's real name "comfort"?
At all cost, I must become love...

All for souls,

wta

EXCELLENT!!!

Do you ever wonder why the false Prosperity Preachers even on TBN have changed into "Kingdom Now" theology? Why is that? Because it's a twist on the same message of false Prosperity. It's not making nothing but more self-centeredness.

Greg,

Thank you for sharing this message from Ravenhill. What a blessing it is to listen to these words, from a man who loved the Lord dearly.

A few months back, I had been going through a situation with my neighbour where his dogs were barking excessively. God used something brother Ravenhill wrote to shake me out of my selfish attitude, and he began using the dogs' barking as a reminder to me pray for my neighbour's eternal soul

May God bless you richly in your ministry :-)
In Christ,
John

The sermon that this was pulled from is titled "The Cost of Discipleship." It's a powerful message. I believe it's available in both AUDIO and VIDEO form. I thank God for sending this man into the world. Years after he went to Glory, the Lord is still using him to rub noses in the dirt in repentance.
