I was greatly blessed to hear nearly all of these messages in person. It really is the fruit of years of observation and experience that my dad has had during his years in the ministry. This is a topic that we all need to be aware of. The battle rages daily with Satan seeking to attack Jesus Christ by seeking to destroy the Bride of Christ. But our Lord is the victor!
Here is a list of descriptions of the messages. The message on The Worm That Had To Die was given on Easter Sunday and was a powerful Easter Sunday message that lifted up Christ.

1. GUARD YOUR GARDEN - \t1 Peter 5:8; Ephesians 5:21, 22, 25; Genesis 2:7, 5
Satan seeks to destroy the church by attacking the Christian home. He can wreak havoc in the church by destroying marriages and influencing the husband or wife to step out of their God ordained roles. The basis of the home is marriage, the basis of marriage is a life long relationship, the basis of that is agreement.

2. HOW SATAN DESTROYS BY DIVIDING – Genesis 3:8; Ephesians 5:21-22; Romans 5:8; 1 Timothy 2:12
Satan seeks to destroy the church by dividing us from God and each other. Rebellion against authority by anyone can bring destruction. In the home the husband can lose his leadership by not loving his wife as instructed in Ephesians 5 and his wife will greatly suffer by his lack of love and the end result will be division in the home.

3. STRANGE FIRE – 1 Timothy 4:12; Numbers 16
Satan will seek to destroy the church by attacking leadership standards found in Scripture and tempting men and women to make their authority the guide of their actions. It is vitally important for leaders to be under the control of the Holy Spirit.

4. THE WORM THAT HAD TO DIE – Isaiah 53; Isaiah 41:1-4’ Psalm 22:6
If Satan can move us off center - which is Christ - he wins a battle in destroying the church by negating the power that is possible for our lives. This power is found in the crucified life of Jesus Christ. There is a beautiful analogy found in the crushing of the Scarlet Worm and the life of Christ. Without the crushing of either one there is neither usefulness nor fulfillment. So the Christian must follow Christ to the cross in dying to self and living the resurrected life in Christ.

5. THE FROG THAT COULD FLY – 1 Corinthians 1:17-31; 1 Corinthians 2:1-4, 13; 1 Corinthians 3:18-21
Are our church’s operating by the wisdom of the world or by God’s wisdom? Satan seeks to destroy by taking our focus off of Christ and focusing on the world’s methods, wisdom, or even our own agendas or pet doctrines. There must be a discovery in the church that true strength lies in the recognition of weakness and dependence upon Christ.

6. THE ROAD HOME – Psalm 133
It is impossible for two to walk together without agreement and the oneness of the Holy Spirit. We need leaders who are led by the Holy Spirit. Satan will seek to destroy through envy and will use a wolf spirit to undermine authority. The qualifications of a man, used by God, are a sense of inadequacy, weakness, poor and needy, he doesn’t see himself as humble but as he really is, he has total dependence on God, there is no confidence in self, and he has total reliance on the Holy Spirit.

7. WHO’S THE KING OF THE JUNGLE? – 1 Samuel 17; Ephesians 6:10-13
If Satan can draw us to fight with his ways we’ll lose the battle. David fought Goliath with the weapons that God gave him, not with Saul’s armor. Satan will seek to draw us away from loving and obeying God, from prayer, and from our position of faith. To do so will result in failure. But we must stand strong in the Lord and believe Christ for the victory.

Envy is a deadly root that destroys those who bite into it. Satan will use envy to bring destruction. Jealousy and envy will reveal to us what is in our own hearts. There are many Biblical examples of people who were tempted with envy, Joseph’s brothers, Miriam, Saul, etc. Envy springs from covetousness and discontentment which is a statement that God is not enough for us.
