I happened upon this site by accident you might say...and am very surprised because it really seems like a site just full of materials for all stages of believers to benefit from. I am a terminal cancer patient, and was looking for web sites that could afford me some comfort, and came across this site. I was saved at the age of 12, and grew up in th COC, but now am a Baptist by faith. I truly struggle each day with sins of the flesh, and am so thankful that God loved me enough to send His son to die for me, so that my sins would not remain a barrier between God and me. I sure don't pretend to know a lot about the Bible, and have many questions, but I am satisfied with what I know enough to know and believe that the Word of God is given t us thru the Bible.
My intent for becoming a member to this site is to grow in my faith, and tobe more comfortable with my illness and impending death, and to remain couragous by knowing that God is in full controll of my life. I need plenty of help each day to keep from sin, and want to love God more each day. I welcome any help I might recieve here.

It is a delight to have you. I am sure with the rich resources and fellowship this site offers, that you will be able to find the comfort you need and help for your faith so that you may overcome whatever sins you might struggle with. Don't give up though in regard to your health. God hasn't said you are going to die just yet. As the Lord increased the years of king Hezekiah 15 years, may He increase yours just the same! (See Isaiah 38)

I agree with you about the great, deep, Divine Love of God. So does Paul in Romans 8, the whole chapter. I have grown a great deal in meditating on that Chapter.

I think you will find fellowship here with so many who dearly desire to know Him more, have more of Him and less of our self (read sin, flesh).
