70 CHILDREN RESCUED IN PHILIPPINES’ ANTI-PORN OPERATIONSMore than 70 children, aged between seven to 16 were rescued when the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) raided a site for pornographic video production in the northern Philippines, a local TV reported Monday, July 05. According to the ABS-CBN news channel, the raid was conducted in a resort of Laguna province after the NBI was tipped by Dutch national Christian Kerremans of the SOS Child Care Foundation about a group that allegedly engages in child pornography. Kerremans told NBI that he has information on how children were being offered to foreigners for prostitution or for video pornography, the report said.
