Greg Gordon (moderator) Itinerary for 2008

sermonindex Aug 1, 2008

Saints,

As some of you know I have been planning to travel this late 2008. God has me involved with the Canadian Revival Fellowship: www.revivalfellowship.com and I will be traveling with them to a trip to south africa this year. In 2009 I might be able to travel with some team members of the CRF for ministry.

I appreciate your prayers dear saints, I am self-supported for all my traveling and am trusting God for His provision in all things.

Here is the Itinerary:

August 6-14 - Trip down to Kentucky, USA to meet with a group of ministry leaders to pray and fast for revival and a possible initiative towards true repentance preaching in America and beyond.

August 15-September 15 - Trip to South Africa to minister in some conferences on revival with the Canadian Revival Fellowship group. Also traveling to the Kwasizabantu Mission to meet with Erlo Stegen and other leaders of this genuine revival that has been going on for over 25 years with the zulu people there in South Africa.

October 14-28 - Attending the Deeper Conference where Ray Comfort, Ken Ham, Paul Washer will be preaching on evangelism. Then there is a group of 500 evangelists to preach in downtown atlanta on the oct 18th night that I will participate in. Then the REVIVAL CONFERENCE will be oct 21-23 in Atlanta!

November 5-December 2 - Traveling to the United Kingdom to preach, pray and prepare for the REVIVAL CONFERENCE in Scotland in Nov 25-27. There are alot of contacts and things working up for this trip. I will be traveling with Gareth Evans the moderator of the event and possibly another brother.

I deeply appreciate prayers for these travels dear saints. I thank God the doors He is opening towards the end of this year.

Some have asked about support, if you desire to support me "personally" you can do it through the CRF, details are at the bottom of this page: https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/contact/

you made it safe cross. May God be with you in this time. Praying for you and the leaders, may he give every one wisdom and eyes to see his glory.

I was reading a a book called respectable Sins.
one piont I thought was really good was, to not make less of sin, to have eyes to just how the little sin, are just as evil as the ones we call big. How we deny them " the whole idea of sin has virually disspeared from ou culure has been soften made sensibilities"

" pastor callled prayer meeting they all prayed aboutt the sins of nation, such abortion and homosexuality, at the end the pastor prayed have mercy on me Lord I am a poor sinner"

" we are more concerned about the sin of society then the saints" all sin evil or small, there is a great need for personal sin, to be seen as wicked and lawless as it is. " deliberate rejection of his moral will in favor of filling one;s own desires"

I was moved, by this, what does our prayer meeting look like, or what does my heart look towards sins? do I weep for the sins of the nation or the sin of my heart?

Blessing Brother may draw you deep. May you spirit filled time, may keep opening your eyes to riches of his glory

in Christ

Thank you saints for praying. My trip across the border went very well with little complications. The meetings here were blessed and many contacts were made including with David Ravenhill, Steve Gallagher, Eric Ludd, Ben Davidson, Randy Jones and many others.

I will share some of the results of my meeting in kentucky with SI later on. I am embarking on the month long trip to South Africa with the (Canadian Revival Fellowship Group) to preachin 3-4 times and also meet with Erlo Stegen and the revival that is happening there.

Keep praying for revival saints, I will report back on this with pictures. God has supplied most of the need for the trip.

Brothers and Sisters,

Thank you for your continued prayers. It has been a joy to be in south africa this past week. I had the opportunity to preach in many townships in tent meetings and will be visiting some precious saints of God in pretoria for the next few days. A wonderful group of brothes from the country of Nambibia have come to travel with me to the KM mission where Erlo Stegen is. I am excited to spend a week there. I will post pictures and share more once I come back around sept 15.

I am praying that God might open doors to see a revival conference in this country there is such a great need for people to seek after a geniuine biblical revival. May God move in a powerful way in Africa there is such "need"!

Thank you for all the prayers and support I look forward to sharing some pictures of what God is doing here. Please continue to pray for saftey including from any sickness etc.

thank you dear saints of God.

Thank you for all that prayed. I am back from South Africa and in Canada now. God opened "many" amazing doors of opportunity during this trip. I preached over 10 times (once at a conference to 1500 people).

I got to meet the leaders of 5 large christian conservative movements in south africa.

God has put it together that there will be a africkanse speaking sermonindex site (with mostly just downloads of sermons in that language).

And many other things. I will try and write a update and share photos in a few days. thank you for all the prayers for saftey and Gods blessing on this trip.

Some have asked. There is a need for support for a new laptop (the old one is almost finished, battery doesnt work etc). Also there is still some support needed for the UK trip. More information on supporting myself is on the bottom of this page: https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/contact/

and some asked about paypal giving and its still active under the account with the email: sermonindex@gmail.com

Saints,

I will do a longer separate post in a few days on my south africa trip. But for now here is a picture of myself sharing at the Christians for Truth conference. Over 1000 people in attendance. It was such a honor to be asked to speak at the event.

I will post the audio of my session in the other post I will make. Thanks for all the prayers and support saints.
