Moving to India - Would you please pray?

Dear Saints,

It's been a while since I've posted regularly here on S.I. but I would like to ask for your prayers for me and my family. We've recently come back from preaching with Brother Josef and his wife in Mexico (about 2 months ago) and are now moving our family to India to live and preach with some brothers there among Hindu's and Muslims. We've sold just about everything we own, purchased one way tickets, and will be leaving tomorrow around noon. It will be myself Sean(sscott), my wife Lisa (myfirstlove), and our four children ages 7,6,3 and 1 month.

We truly do seek your prayers as we seek to proclaim the excellencies of HIM (Jesus) who has called us out of darkness and into Him marvelous light! Lord-willing, by His grace, we'll be preaching in both unreached villages as well as among the Muslim community. If you would please pray for our children as I know this will be difficult for them, for my wife as she cares for them and the newborn, and for myself that I would -like Paul- may make know the mystery of the Gospel and preach boldly as I should (Eph. 6:19,20) (I've listed some more prayer points on our site if you would like to pray for us.) We truly are dependent upon His grace and know that without Him we can do nothing.

We are thankful and grateful for the prayers of the saints and also for this site which has been a blessing to us.

May the Lord Jesus continually be glorified through all of us who call upon His name!

Please continue to remember Sean and his family in your prayers, as they are leaving today.

They lived and ministered with us in Mexico for about 6 months and it was a great blessing to have them and fellowship with them. It was one of the hardest things for me to see them leave. I can truly say that there are extremely FEW who are as devoted and full of the love of Christ as this brother.

He is taking his four precious kids, along with his wife, with him to this strange new land. You can only imagine how hard it must be (in the natural). Please keep him in prayer and if you feel led to, they are also in need of monthly support. His site is www.preachingjesuschrist.com

Wow, this is wonderful! Praise God! I'll be praying for ya'll as you travel, adjust to a different culture and start serving the Lord there. And congratulations on the new little one. :-)

Thanks brethren for praying! Sorry it's taken a while to respond. It's taken a while to get here and then we had an issue of our luggage not showing up. Praise the Lord though - it's all here now!

If you would please pray for me for this Wednesday. I met a college professor and he's asked me to come preach the gospel to his class of about 250 Hindu students at the local college!
