Desperatly need help.Fallen from grace.

Anyone please pray for me. I feel as though I have fallen from grace, my conscience won't let me sleep at night I sinned willfully and believed a lie I broke ã traffic signal willfully now I know that souunds silly but I kn I had to slow down but I believed lie that said it didn't matter so I just broke it then the fear of God left my heart and I feel no more pull of Spirit and am apart from that sanctifying grace that purifies the heart from sin and am tormented by the word of God in all the places that I have fallen short so please pray that God would have mercy in judgement and if there is ã word that he gives any of you please tell me.

I have self centered, and talk tomuch aß the fool does and snares his soul and The Lord keep my heart supple but ã was reproved many times and hardened my neck and am destroyed without remedy. My heart has become ã stone but conscience cannot rest because I remember the good word of God and The times the Spirit moved and am screaming please pray God would have mercy in Judgment please tell me if he tells you anything I am just like Simon asking someone else to pray for him but I do not have any sense that he will hear me please responde with a word of hope some kind of hope please. I am just ã conscience ã king for mercy my heart has become ã stone I felt Gods Spirit leave my heart. I have been so foolish to believe lies. Please let there be some hope.

My friend, our access to grace is not based upon our own righteousness or our own obedience to God's law (summed up in "love God and love your neighbor"), but our access is based upon the finished work of Jesus Christ and His atoning blood. When we simply believe God concerning the testimony of His Son who died in our behalf, then we have instant access.

"Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: [u]by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand[/u], and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." (Romans 5:1-2)

Our access to grace is based upon faith in Christ and Him crucified, and absolutely nothing else. [u]You did NOT fall from grace because you sinned. You fall from grace when you think that your access to grace is based upon your own behavior![/u]

"Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, [u]whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace."[/u] (Galatians 5:2-4)

So you see that attempting to be justified by the law of works causes you to fall from grace, that free and superabundant grace that triumphs over every transgression through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Now that you are distressed, I exhort you in Christ's name not to rest upon your own righteousness or feel that your unrighteousness and sin is too great for the grace of God. It is at THIS TIME that the gospel speaks to you. It is in our worst apprehensions of your own vileness and sinfulness that we must lay hold of Christ our Saviour by faith and take hope through what He has done, and trust not our own feelings and sight in the matter. God justifies the ungodly: that's you. That's me. That's God's way. Grace through faith, and not of works. Believe it.

Perhaps this was God's means to smash your illusion of self-righteousness. God be praised.

My dear friend,

The Spirit of God has not left your heart. If that were to be the case you would no longer belong to Him. (Romans 8:9) This would also indicate that you would no longer be His son.

HEBREWS 12:4-8
4 In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. 5 And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons:
"My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
6 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son." 7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? 8 If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.

When we incur the Lord's discipline after falling, it is actually one of the most clear and concrete proofs that we are indeed still His sons. I fear, for you, however that you have amplified the feeling of discipline to an unhealthy level. Remember it was the fruit of the "tree of the KNOWLEDGE of good & evil" which caused Adam to hide from the presence of the Lord. In other words, it was an awareness of sin, the power of the guilty conscience, which caused Him to hide. Dear brother, I encourage you to repent, take the Lord at His word, and then spit out the bitter fruit of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and evil - and then, rest in Christ!

I know your struggle well, it is one I think most believers go through. We are so tied to the rewards for success mentality, it has been drilled into us since childhood. After some years as a Christian we tend to think that now we are somebody and can do something - almost that God can now depend on us. By thinking this way we no longer think of ourselves as a sinner saved by grace, but rather as a deserving and consecrated Christian who can expect to receive from God some reward for his efforts. The moment we do this, we again come under the law, with the result that sinful passions come to life again. We have to learn that a deserving Christian, a devoted servant of the Lord, yes, even a great apostle, is no better than a wretched, helpless sinner when he is left to himself and trusts in his own experiences.

2 verses, out of sequence, and very briefly I would add that there is nary an easy believer ("easy believism") here in your midst. They are two that can almost be painful to believe ... believe them anyway.

[i]My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:[/i] 1Jn 2:1

[i]If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.[/i] 1Jn 1:9

[b]My little children[/b] - Τεκνια μου· My beloved children; the address of an affectionate father to children whom he tenderly loves. The term also refers to the apostle’s authority as their spiritual father, and their obligation to obey as his spiritual children.

[b]That ye sin not[/b] - This is the language of the whole Scripture; of every dispensation, ordinance, institution, doctrine, and word of God. Sin not - do not run into ruin; live not so as to promote your own misery; be happy, for it is the will of God that ye should be so; therefore he wills that ye should be holy: holiness and happiness are inseparable; sin and misery are equally so.

[b]And if any man sin[/b] - If, through ignorance, inexperience, the violence of temptation, unwatchfulness, etc., ye have fallen into sin, and grieved the Spirit of God, do not continue in the sin, nor under the guilt; do not despair of being again restored to the favor of God; your case, it is true, is deeply deplorable, but not desperate; there is still hope, for -
